Transport Options.

Due to the proximity of the airport to the site and official hotel, plus parking costs in the city we recommend using taxis, Uber or shuttles rather than hiring vehicles. 

Recommended / official transport providers with discounted event rates will be released in later bulletins and on the website and travel for athletes will be at their own cost. 

Officials should contact uniworlds@awsc.co.nz prior to travel to organise / book transport. 

Car Rental.

We only recommend renting a vehicle if you intend to train at alternative sites around the country or enjoy travelling outside of Auckland.  All the major car rental agencies operate in NZ and accept all major credit cards.

Public transport / taxis and Uber are widely available, well priced and reliable.
