Event Rules & Team Formation.
Standard team rules for a Worlds event apply as per section 14 & 15 of the IWWF Rulebook.
Adjustments or information relating to these rules are below:
- Countries may enter up to 2x full teams denoted as an A and B team. Each team shall consist of a maximum of 6 skiers, with the further limitation that no team may have more than four men or four women.
- Teams may also enter 2x skiing reserves / alternate skiers. These skiers can win individual medals, however they do not contribute to the team scores unless they are substituted in to the team prior to the first skier of the tournament.
- For the purposes of the team overall the “A team” scores will be used.
- Skiers must be between the ages of 17 and 28 as at December 31, preceding the Championships.
- Skiers must be enrolled as full-time students in good standing at an accredited university and evidence must be provided to the organisers 30 days prior to the start of the event.
- Students who graduated in the year of the tournament (2025) or prior year (2024) are eligible to compete in the event.
