BIOSECURITY CONTROL.
Teams must follow these entry rules to NZ.
Protecting NZ’s primary industries, waterways, flora and fauna from pests and diseases is critical to NZ and as a result, or Biosecurity controls at the border are strict.
All water ski equipment must be clean and dry before arrival. Check inside wetsuits, boots and gloves for moisture, weed or lake debris and clean where necessary.
Clean and check all ski bags of any grass or bugs and clean any shoes that may have any mud / dirt on the soles.
-Do not bring any:
- Fruits, vegetables or unsealed food products.
- Do not bring any unlabelled food or medicines. All medicine must be prescribed to the traveller.
- Dirty footwear or clothing, especially items used in rural areas.
- Plants, seeds or untreated animal products.
All items bought to NZ must be comercially packaged, unopened and easily identifiable to border officials.
